A Low Carb French 75

The French 75

A light, refreshing, champagne cocktail that’s perfect all year long and for any celebration. Keep it low carb with my signature keto simple syrup too.

If you are a tried and true champagne lover like me, then you will love the French 75. There is something about a beautiful glass of bubbly in hand for celebrating a new year or… well, celebrating for no reason!

This is a refreshing cocktail that is the perfect classic cocktail to keep in your repertoire. If you’re looking to rework a classic, you can also check out my Bon Appeteach “Book Club” version with ouzo!

The French 75

“School” Supplies:

  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 2 oz. Champagne
  • 2 “splashes” Simple Syrup
  • 1 Lemon Twist

The French 75

“Class” Notes:

This cocktail is quick an easy to make! I love using a champagne glass for this drink, but you can also use a coupe glass too. Start by adding ice to a cocktail shaker and then in glass combine the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

If you are one of my low carb friends, try making a keto friendly simple syrup with your favorite low carb sweetener instead to keep it keto friendly. Shake the three ingredients together until combine, pour into your chosen glass, and top with a little champagne.
