Looking for a marinade that will take your steak to the next level? Look no further than Montreal Steak Marinade! Bursting with a bold blend of savory spices and zesty flavors, this marinade will infuse your steak with a mouthwatering taste that will have you coming back for seconds.

Take your steak game up a few notches by adding a super quick and easy marinade! It’s the perfect addition to leaner steak cuts like this flat iron steak recipe or even try it with smoked tri-tip!

Why This Recipe Works:

Super Flavorful: My Montreal steak marinade recipe will take the flavor of your steak up a few notches! I use classic spices that are used in Montreal steak seasoning like paprika, coriander, onion powder, rosemary, and thyme and I combine them with Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and fresh garlic for a marinade that is absolutely bursting with flavor!

So Easy to Make: Whipping up your own homemade marinade is actually super easy and so worth it! All you need to do is measure out the ingredients and whisk them together well before allowing your steak to marinate. I recommend grilling your steak for the best flavor when it is grilling season! Otherwise, these steaks will still be absolutely delicious on the stovetop or in the oven.

Supplies Needed:

  • Glass Bowl or Large Glass Measuring Cup
  • Whisk

Montreal Steak Marinade Ingredients:

  • Olive Oil: I like to use olive oil as the fat here! This really rounds out the flavors of the other liquids in this marinade.
  • Soy Sauce: Soy sauce adds an umami kick!
  • Worcestershire Sauce: This also adds a nice amount of umami to the marinade and has a nice tang to it that goes super well with steak.
  • Fresh Garlic: I prefer using freshly minced garlic instead of garlic powder! It adds loads of flavor!
  • Seasonings: Sea Salt, Pepper, Smoky Paprika, Coriander, Onion Powder, Dried Rosemary, and Dried Thyme are the seasonings that make up Montreal steak seasoning. If you have whole coriander grains, grind them into a powder.
