Celebrating the luck of the Irish on a low sugar or low carb diet? Here are 5 heathy recipes you can use for your next St. Patrick’s day!
While I am not Irish, I did grow up (and now live again) in the Chicago area. Chicago is known for getting into some serious Irish spirit and over the years. Because we like to celebrate and partake in the fun, there are a handful of healthier low carb recipes I have made on my site that are perfect for the occasion.
I’ve got you covered from breakfast, main dishes, appetizers, cocktails, and of course dessert! The real question is whether or not you’re feeling lucky enough this holiday to try out all five? Let’s get started!
Easy Low Carb Tips For Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day:
- Die your eggs green! Whether you’re making scrambled, fried, or even hard boiled, green eggs with dye are and easy way to participate and make it fun for the whole family. This would be fun with keto pancake mix too.
- Die a low carb beer green! I know it sounds crazy, but it’s a lot of fun to get into the spirit. Read more about which low carb beers to try with my guide to Drinking Alcohol on a Keto Diet.
- Add a little Irish whiskey to your money coffee and top it with some low carb sweetened whipped cream.
- If you love something minty and not actually Irish, try out this fun Keto Girl Scout Thin Mint cookie recipe too.
