Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Butter softened
  • 3 tbsp Fresh Chives finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Chive Blossoms finely chopped
  • 1 small Shallot minced
  • 1 tsp Flaky Sea Salt

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped chives, minced shallot, and chive blossoms if using.
  • Mix thoroughly with a fork or spatula until the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Season with flaky salt to taste and mix again to combine.
  • Transfer the chive butter to a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Shape into a log and roll tightly.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up, or use immediately as a soft spread.
  • Slice and serve over grilled steaks, roasted vegetables, baked potatoes, or fresh bread.

Notes

Wrap tightly in parchment and store in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
