Sorbet
- 4 green apples
- 4 small Honeycrisp apples
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 to 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
Frozen caramel apple sundae toppings
- Caramel sauce
- Finely chopped nuts
- Snickers
- Reese's pieces
Peel the apples and chop them into even sized cubes.
Toss the apple cubes in the juice of 1 lemon to limit browning.
Spread the apples in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 4 to 5 hours, until solid.
Let the frozen apples sit for 5 minutes.
Add the apples to a food processor and start blending.
Add 1 to 2 tablespoons honey and 1/4 to 1/3 cup Greek yogurt. Blend until smooth.
Serve right away. Top with caramel sauce, finely chopped nuts, chopped Snickers, and chopped Reese's pieces for a frozen caramel apple sundae.
Serve right away for the best texture.
For a dairy-free version, use a thick plain dairy-free yogurt or leave it out. The texture will be more icy.
