Ingredients
1/2cupChia Seeds
2cupsCoconut Milkor other desired milk of choice
1/4cupHoneyif you prefer sweeter, add more
1tbsp.Cinnamon
2tsp.Turmeric
1tsp.Ginger
1/4tsp.Black Pepper
Coconut Flakesoptional garnish
Instructions
If using canned coconut milk, shake well before opening. Open and pour into a bowl.
To the bowl, add the honey, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, and black pepper.
Whisk or lightly blend to fully mix the honey and spices into the milk.
Add in the chia seeds and stir again to combine. Do not blend once the seeds are added. Let the chia seeds sit for 10 minutes to absorb the liquid.
Test taste and adjust sweetness if desired. Pour into individual glass jars or containers for serving.
Serve immediately with an optional garnish of coconut flakes if desired.
Notes
You can prepare this ahead of time and keep it in the fridge for up to 7 days. Store in sealed jars or air-tight containers. Please be mindful that turmeric can easily stain, so take caution when prepping this recipe.
