Preheat the air fryer oven to 365 degrees F. See instructions in the article above if you want to boil in beer first.
Place each raw bratwurst into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 12-14 minutes and flip each brat halfway through cooking for even browning. Each brat should be golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165 F.
Remove and let rest 5 minutes and serve on a bun (or without) and add your favorite toppings like sauerkraut, onions, mustard or beer cheese sauce.
Notes
Do not pierce the bratwurst before cooking as it will rip the casing and release more of the juice and fat. Do however be mindful of the fat (sometimes it pressurizes when cooking and can spray at your when you open the air fryer).
