Make sure you work with fresh or defrosted shrimp that is deveined. Shells do add more flavor, but you can buy them peeled if desired.

For this recipe, I add my Cajun BBQ dry rub recipe for a lot of added flavor. You can easily make this or sub for Old bay or other spices you prefer.

Begin by melting your butter in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Turn off the heat once melted and move to a cool burner.

To the warm butter, whisk in the Worcestershire sauce, tabasco, Cajun spice rub, and lots of fresh garlic.

Toss the shrimp in the warm butter mixture and place them spread out fully in your skillet. Preheat your grill for indirect heat at 250 F.

Smoke your shrimp for about 30 minutes. Larger shrimp may need additional time (add 5-10 minutes as needed) until it reaches 145 F.

Garnish your shrimp with some fresh parsley and red pepper flakes and more fresh lemon if desired. Full recipe details linked below!
