1lbBacon
2oz.Bourbon
1/2tspMaple Extract
1cupLow Carb Sweetener
Cracked Black Pepper
Stevia/ Monk Fruit Dropsoptional for extra sweetness
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a cooling rack over the top of the foil.
In a bowl combine the low carb sweetener, bourbon, and maple extract and whisk together.
Either dip the bacon pieces into the sweetener or use a basting brush to paint it on both sides of the bacon.
Bake for 20 minutes and flip it. Allow it to cook until the fat renders. Remove it from the oven and allow it cool slightly and it will set a bit more.
