Kansas City BBQ Pulled Pork Hot Dogs

Ingredients

  • 4 All Beef Hot Dogs
  • 4 Hot Dog Buns
  • 2 cups Pulled Pork
  • 1/4 cup BBQ Sauce plus extra for garnish
  • 12 Pickle Slices
  • 1/2 Coleslaw

Instructions

Preparation

  • Add water to the bottom of a large pot and then cover with a steaming basket. Place on medium high heat and bring the water to a simmer.
  • Place the pulled pork onto one side of the basket and the hot dogs on the other side. Cover with a lid and steam about 6-8 minutes.

Assembly

  • Once the pork and hot dogs are heated through, place the hot dog buns on top of the meat. Cover with the lid again and steam an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove everything from the pot.
  • In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce into the pulled pork.
  • Place the BBQ pulled pork onto the open hot dog bun, then add a hot dog.
  • To one side add 2 tablespoons of coleslaw and 4 pickle slices to the opposite side.
  • Garnish with an additional drizzle of BBQ sauce over the top and enjoy.
