A cheesy, smoked and roasted green chili pepper queso style dip that’s a perfect way to celebrate this seasonal pepper the right way!

No! You can easily fire roast the peppers in the oven and then bake the dip as well.

Do you have to have a grill or smoker?

Here's what you need --->

Grab some chili peppers, garlic, and onions. Roast or broil to add some char.

Mix the veggies, shredded cheese, sour cream, and cream cheese in a bowl. I added a little spicy mustard too for a vinegary kick.

Mix everything until it is combined and looks like this.

Dump into a baking dish or cast iron. I added crushed pork rinds on top for low carb, but cracker crumbs work great too for texture.

Smoke on the grill or bake until browned and bubbly all the way through, about 30 minutes or so!
