Keto Almond Flour Pie Crust

This keto gluten free pie crust made with almond flour is the perfect buttery, flaky, pastry style crust you can use for tarts, pies, and savory quiches too.

This is a super versatile crust made from almond flour. It comes together in 5 minutes and can be chilled before baking into any of your favorite sweet or savory pies.

Cooking Tools Needed: – Food Processor – Measuring cups and Spoons – Pie Plate – Aluminum foil or pie crust shield (The shield helps prevent the crust from over cooking)

This recipe is just a few simple keto staple ingredients. The crust works best with almond flour. It cannot be substituted for coconut flour.

This recipe is made easiest with a food processor, but the butter can be cut in by hand. Start by adding the dry ingredients and mix. Then add the eggs.

Add very, very cold butter and pulse and mix until the dough forms into a ball inside the mixer. It should look like this!

Pat the dough out onto your counter into a solid dough ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge until needed. It also can be placed in the freezer too.

Grease a pie plate with non stick spray. When you're ready to make your pie crust, just simply press it into the pan by hand. So much easier than rolling!

Use your fingers or a fork to crimp the edges for a prettier design. You can par-bake or bake with a filling directly into the raw crust if needed.

It's perfect for making keto pumpkin pie or this delicious homemade keto and gluten free quiche. Full recipe steps and details linked below!
