Air Fryer Pork Belly

Get the crispiest fried pork belly in the air fryer with this simple 30 minute recipe you will want to make again and again!

Cooking Tools Needed: – Knife and Cutting Board – Paper towels – Butter Knife – Tongs -- Air Fryer

Start by prepping your pork belly. You can you slices or a slab, use what will fit in your air fryer specifically. Pat the pork belly dry.

Coat the BBQ rub around all the sides and bottom of the pork belly. Leave the fat cap uncovered, this is important for the fat to render and get crispy.

Coat the top of the fat cap in a thicker layer of salt. This will eventually be scraped off, so don't be alarmed!

Fully preheat your air fryer before cooking the pork belly. Place your pork belly into the air fryer and cook at 350 F. for 20 minutes.

After that 20 minutes, the fat cap will begin to render and the salt will help the top get nice and crispy. Remove the pieces of pork belly temporarily from the air fryer.

Use a butter knife or pairing knife to scrape off the salt on the top of each piece of pork belly. Do your best to get a lot off before placing it back into the air fryer.

Turn the heat up on your air fryer to 425 F. Let it cook for another 8-10 minutes until the inside is fully cooked, the outside is crispy, and the fat cap is rendered.

Slice and serve however you like! These are delicious sliced and served up with your favorite BBQ, in stir fry, and countless other ways!
